Anya Drapkin has been practicing hands-on healing from the age of 12 and as a certified massage therapist since 1998. Her massage style incorporates many different Eastern and Western styles, as well as hypnotherapy to bring you deeper relaxation through vocal guidance.
Anya received training and certification through De Anza College, Lupin Massage Institute, Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts and has taken workshops in Aromatherapy with Katherine Koeppen of Aromaceuticals, Hypnotherapy workshops at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, and Spa Therapy at Watercourse Way Day Spa in Palo Alto. Most recently Anya has trained in Prenatal Massage with Leslie Stager-former Labor and Delivery Nurse and Childbirth Educator.
The massage is done on a comfortable massage table and a blend of organic, light coconut oil is used. In her professional life she has worked with thousands of clients, who have found her massage style to be transformative and deep. She has experience in alleviating problems such as neck, shoulder and back pain,j as well as TMJ. She also loves working with women who are preparing their bodies for pregnancy, as well as pregnant women and those experiencing issues post-partum.
